En plein air is a French expression meaning “in the open air”, and refers to the act of painting outdoors with the artist's subject in full view. Plein air artists capture the spirit and essence of a landscape or subject by incorporating natural light, color and movement into their works.

About John: Born and raised in Switzerland, John Schnurrenberger grew up with an admiration of the Cowboy Lifestyle and a love of horses. He worked along side other cowboys at some of Canada's largest ranches, gathering material and ideas for future paintings. After a lengthy and rewarding career as a Western Artist, John has devote more of his time to paint various subjects, from capturing the beauty and mystique of the female figure in a series of Drawings and Paintings, to painting "Plein Air" landscapes, miniature oils, as well as some "Commission" paintings. John's plein air landscape paintings will be available to view and purchase at this Akashic Ranch Open House! "Shamanic Rain" Workshop

In the modern world, a person is most concerned with their basic needs, fulfilling wants, and achieving success. Often these needs and wants are imposed on us by society, strengthened by childhood traumas, reinforced by the limitations in which we have driven ourselves. And behind all this, many of us have forgotten how to differentiate what our soul wants, and what society wants from us. Our Ego very often replaces our soul and becomes our "personality". In psychoanalysis, Ego is the part of a person's mind that tries to match their hidden soul desires with the demands of the "real world" social influence. When we live in our ego, we live in fear. Fear is the absence of Love, and Love is the universal Source, the beginning of all. When we are in ego we are disconnected from ourselves, from the universe, and from Love. Living in Ego leads to depression, energy depleting conditions, and illness, which equals an unhappy life.When we begin to wake up, we begin our journey back to ourselves, to our true Self. We begin to look for tools that will help us on this path. And Neurographics is just one of these tools - a creative method of transforming the world, an integrative approach to solving life problems. In it, we implement the idea of how it is possible to be a happy and whole person and how to become the author of our own life.
“Shamanic Rain” allows us to connect with the Universe, with our Higher Self, and with Spirit. It helps us align our desires and our purpose, fill our Here and Now with it's powerful energy, and plant the seeds that grow crops for our happy future. The best thing is that you don't need to know how to draw! We'll begin with an explanation of the mechanics of Neurographics and how to draw the lines and shapes, then connect and integrate them in the drawing. We will then open the Directions to create a sacred space. You will be offered breath work followed by a meditation with specific mantras and mudras for grounding and focus.
We will start our work and go through all stages, from clouds to final lines in one sitting.
Once the drawing is complete, we will close the directions and have another short meditation to integrate and come back to ground.

About Mia: I was born and raised in Ukraine, then moved to Canada in 2013 to start a new life here. I've been a BC girl from 2020, residing in Kamloops. I love this place with my whole heart. Mountains, lakes and rivers, forests and hills, all the beauty that Mother Earth has, is what makes me happy! After a series of life circumstances I received my spiritual awakening and calling to Shamanism. I'm currently completing my initiations on Medicine Wheel training from the Shamanic Yoga Institute in Squamish, and I'm very passionate about serving the world and collective healing.
I practice Shamanic ceremonies and energy healing, Yoga, food medicine and nature’s medicine, candle magic, traditional slavic beeswax cleanse and purge, and recently I fell in love with neurographics. The practice I offer is an expressive arts practice combined with energy work that's held in a sacred spaces for amplified release and healing.

Join me for a day at the Akashic Ranch, surrounded by like-minded individuals, as we delve into building our intuitive connection with animals. I will teach and speak to the principles of animal communication, provide a framework for connecting and receiving from animals in this way, and guide you through exercises that support your ability to channel and receive. This workshop offers a foundational understanding of Animal Communication and is an opportunity for you to connect with animals in this way.
I strongly believe that everyone possesses this innate ability and gift; it simply requires time, practice, and an understanding of how you uniquely receive. Allow me to guide and support you on this journey of exploring your innate abilities.
This workshop was created to support anyone seeking to deepen their intuitive connection with animals, regardless of their current level of abilities. Come prepared to spend the day outdoors in the beautiful surroundings, keeping in mind that in the event of rain, we’ll have a covered area available, but it’s still an outdoor setting, so dress appropriately for the weather conditions that day.

I will teach and speak to the principles of animal communication, provide a framework for connecting and receiving from animals in this way, and guide you through exercises that support your ability to channel and receive. This workshop offers a foundational understanding of Animal Communication and is an opportunity for you to connect with animals in this way.
I strongly believe that everyone possesses this innate ability and gift; it simply requires time, practice, and an understanding of how you uniquely receive. Allow me to guide and support you on this journey of exploring your innate abilities.
This workshop was created to support anyone seeking to deepen their intuitive connection with animals, regardless of their current level of abilities. It covers fundamental aspects of my Animal Communication training and serves as an excellent starting point for those wanting to connect with animals in this way.
About Brittany: My name is Brittany Ashworth, and I am honoured and grateful to live, work, and explore on the unceded territory of the Secwepemc Nation.
I was led to move to this area of BC, from Vancouver Island, in 2020. After moving here, I had the privilege to expand and explore deeper parts of myself, creating and birthing dreams I didn't know I had. My partners on this path are my husband, horses, dog, and cats.
I have been on a spiritual journey of healing, self-growth, discovery, and expansion for more than 10 years. On this path, I have been committed to following my intuition and guides which has led me to learn and connect with many beautiful individuals.
As an Animal Communicator, Reiki Master, Horse Medicine Facilitator and educator, I am wholeheartedly dedicated to bridging the gap of communication and connection between humans and animals in meaningful ways. I am passionate about sharing the wisdom and messages that animals convey, while also nurturing people to awaken their innate abilities and gift for animal communication. I love being a witness to the beautiful journey of partnership and connection between people and animals in this way.

What to bring: A yoga mat, blanket, or pillow to sit on for comfort. A journal and writing tool for the exercises, your lunch, a photo of at least 1 animal that you are hoping to connect with (Please ensure you can see their eyes clearly), and anything else you may need for comfort for the day.
Come prepared to spend the day outdoors in the beautiful surroundings, keeping in mind that in the event of rain, we’ll have a covered area available, but it’s still an outdoor setting, so dress appropriately for the weather conditions that day.
